Shawn McGlothlin joined J. Pollock, Incorporated (J. Pollock) in March 2024 as an Associate. Mr. McGlothlin has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers. He has filed testimonies in Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, and South Carolina addressing Cost Allocation, Revenue Allocation, Rate Design, Large Load Tariffs, System Resiliency Plans, System Restoration Cost, and FERC Order No. 898. In addition, he has done regulatory work and supported clients on energy matters in Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
Prior to joining J. Pollock, Mr. McGlothlin spent nearly 29 years with Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) with his final years as TI’s Global Energy Director, routinely reporting to TI’s executive leadership. During that time, and across multiple states and countries, he executed energy contracts, including multiple long-term purchase power agreements, developed and executed physical energy hedging strategies for TI’s U.S. portfolio, supported strategic planning and reporting on global sustainability initiatives, developed and supported capital execution, and provided technical support and testimony on public policy matters.
